Concave Art Glass, Inc. - Our Story. . . . Many years ago Guillermo Erlam, Sr., a Master Engraver and artist, was enamored with the idea of painting glass with unique contemporary designs to adorn homes and offices. His passion for his expertise, as a metals engraver steered him away from pursuing his interest in glass. As a young boy, Guillermo "Bill" Erlam, Jr., witnessed his father's ambitious glass projects and was amazed at the beauty of the decorative concave art glass. The few pieces of art glass that his father developed left quite an impression on young Bill. About 30 years later, Bill was tragically injured in an automobile accident that left him permanently paralyzed. Throughout this time, he began years of reinvention which brought him back to memories of his father's art glass idea. Bill reinvigorated the idea of the concave art glass and has brought it to the next level. He has created exceptional and unique glass designs perfect for decorative home and office accents. Each glass is truly unique, carefully crafted by Bill. It is easy to recognize that each piece is a representation of his passion and dedication to his craft.
